Mark 14:36

"Abba, Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me.  Yet not what I will, but what you will."  Mark 14:36

How often do we ask God to take away pain in our lives?  We have stress at work, our health goes bad, our relationships have gone astray and we just want to escape.  We try to run or turn away.  Even Jesus in his last hours cried out to God to save him.  We can all cry out to God.  He wants up to approach Him in good times and in bad.  The key is: at the end of all of our frustration, tears, anger, resentment, or whatever it may be, we must say just as Jesus did, "Yet not what I will, but what you will."  Though Christ had to die, it was for the salvation of us all.  Sometimes we cannot understand the pain and suffering of our problems.  At times we cannot look past the problem, but God has a plan and though it may look bleak right now, He will use it for good in the end.  I have seen this in my life and I know it is true.  There were times when I was very low.  I didn't understand why God would allow the things that took place to happen.  I still do not have all the answers, but I know that Romans 8:28 is true.  It says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."  If I did not go through my pain I would not be where I am today and I could not reach out to others in the same way.  Though I wish I did not have to go through it, it has helped me become stronger and drawn me closer to my loving God.  I hope that if you are in a spot today where you feel hurt, confused, frustrated, sad, or just don't understand what God is doing in your life...first pray about it.  Call out to God through song, reading your Bible, taking a walk with the Lord, or whatever works best for you.  Give Him your pain and suffering.  He knows what you are going through and he will "never leave you nor forsake you" Hebrews 13:5
Peace be with you friends
